Melted Products: High-Quality Ingots & Billets for Specialised Applications

Stationed at our premises in Sheffield, our two 2.5-megawatt 6 tonne induction furnaces give us the capability to melt into quantities of 5.5T and 10T. In addition, we also have two state-of-the-art ingot annealing furnaces. These facilities, paired with a high-tech vacuum degassing station, argon purging, and oxygen-lancing resources, allow us to provide a quality product for applications such as aerospace, nuclear, defence, and engineering.

To achieve quality and consistency throughout the material, all of our ingots are uphill cast and headed with low volume, low density materials to provide low thermal conductivity and high insulation values.

With well-developed pit-side practices, advanced ladle refractory linings and metallurgy, Pro-Roll Ltd can offer a high standard of material cleanliness across a number of different product specifications including, but not limited to:

   Carbon Steels

   Ferritic Stainless Steels

   Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steels

   Alloy Steels

   Austenitic Stainless Steels

   Martensitic Stainless Steels

   Air Melt Nickel Alloys
