Forging
Expanding Forging Capabilities for High-Performance Alloys
Pro-Roll recently announced their expansion into forging processes for a wide range of materials which include:
Steels (Carbon & Low Alloy)
Cobalt Alloys
Stainless Steels (Austenitic, Martensitic, Ferritic, Super Austenitic, Duplex, Precipitation Hardening Grades)
Titanium
Nickel Alloys
Shaped sections (Rounds, Flats, Squares) are offered for subcontract/toll working conversion of customer material, or as part of a full-supply process. Additionally, in 2026, Pro-Roll has plans to install a 1500T open die press, capable of producing bars/forgings up to a weight of 5 Tonnes.
Our current Press/Forging Facility includes:
1000 Tonne Open-Die Forging Press – Capable of producing bars and shafts up to a weight of 2-3 Tonnes
GFM SX-16 Radial Forging Machine – Capable of producing close tolerance forged section shapes from an envelope of 160 mm down to 30 mm
